Parent Involvement

We know how important it is to keep parents in the loop when it comes to their children's education. We also know that many parents feel they cannot offer as much academic guidance once their child is at the high school level.

The instructors at iQ Academy are certified teachers and subject matter experts in their field of study. They have also received special training in online instruction techniques and are readily available to assist students with their coursework.

As a parent, you can stay involved in a number of ways:

Set a daily schedule

Help your child set a daily schedule that works for your family. Encourage your child to discuss his or her work with you regularly. In K–6, a Learning Coach (typically the parent) and teacher work together on scheduling and pacing, according to the child’s needs.

Follow your student's progress

Access your child's gradesand follow his or her progress with the Online Learning System for grades K–5, and through a Parent Observer Account for grades 7–12.

Community Coordinator

Become a Community Coordinator or work with other Community Coordinators to arrange opportunities for students to get together with other iQ Academy students.
